Pretty awesome movie

I thought this was a good movie, it was cool to see the combat with muskets. How it shows how slow they were to reload, their unreliability with powder getting wet/misfires, the importance of taking your time with your shot to be accurate yet being quick enough to get the shot off first. I also enjoyed how it showed the desperation and hopelessness that the Irish faced during the time period. All of the grandparents were born in Ireland and told me stories passed down from their elders about this, but it was very impactful to actually see it portrayed visually. Overall I definitely enjoyed the movie, the main character was a total badass, and his knife was awesome too. That thing looked vicious and he really knew how to use it effectively. I’d recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys tense and bleak movies, and doesn’t mind a pace that is somewhat slow at times. The final scene was cool too, I like how they ended it. Don’t want to give anything away with the ending, but I like how it makes you ponder the characters’ future decisions.

Yes to all of this
It was a bleak tale, the depiction of fighting with black powder rifles seemed authentic, the sickening scenes of starvation and hopelessness were effectively depressing

I enjoyed the ending as well...I have my own thoughts on what Hannah chose to do in that last scene

I would guess that he chose to go to America. Killing the English Officer wasn't going to accomplish anything.

It probably did not
