Did anyone else not realize it was Johnny Depp?

I watched this entire movie and had no clue it was him. Didn't realize it until I read it afterward. Anyone else not recognize him?

yes!!! but his eyes gave it away that it was him!!! only for the fact I seen he was in th emovie , I put it together that was him , great performance , I think he had a possible fake nose on !!!

I agree it was the eyes. In the first 30 seconds I was like, I know this guy. Is that Johnny Depp? The more I looked into his eyes, the more I was sure. Then seeing in the credits that one of the female clerks had the surname Depp, convinced me even more that it was Johnny and the girl was his daughter, especially since Kevin Smith's daughter was the other female clerk.

I thought it was either Rockwell or Depp but I doubted that Depp would ever consider to be in one of Smith's film so I was fairly sure that it was Rockwell until I checked it out on the internet, couldn't be bothered to go through the end credits.

I thought it was Rockwell the whole movie.
Interesting note: in the credits (watching them now) it lists the actor playing Guy LaPointe as...Guy LaPointe.

I didn't realize it was him at first..to be honest and this may make me sound like an idiot but it's the absolute truth..I knew he was in the movie before seeing this. And I remember thinking to myself "I thought Johnny Depp was in this movie...I wonder when he'll show up" and this was kind of towards the end after his character had already been introduced a while back. I didn't realize until pretty late in to the movie that it was actually him.

It took me a couple minutes, but I guessed when I was still watching his first scene. I asked my friend and he said he thought so, too. I could tell it was him after that. I think it had to do with the voice, then I could see him there.

One thing that threw me off too was this was described as a cameo. But to me this was more than a cameo, it was a major supporting character.

Come on. You have to be blind and deaf not to know it was him. Worse still, he was doing tim conway. Shameless. Terrible. One more ruined movie because he was in it.

I had no idea and the funny thing is that while watching it I was thinking to myself "wow this guy reminds me of Johnny Depp."

The first time I knew it was him was from a forum subject line here (after watching the film). I had no clue.
