Hah, I think it comes down to the fact that there have been so many superhero/comic movies by now that a good part of actors in Hollywood have by now been called to play a role in one film or another. Just so happens the main cast in this film all were at some point in comic book films.

And Scott Adkins who played the bladed armed Deadpool (Barakapool) at the end of Xmen Origins

It's getting tough to find an actor/actress who hasn't done a comic book movie.

Tommy Lee Jones was also the military commander of Captain America. Don't recall his character.

I agree though, it will be difficult to find actors that don't have a superhero movie tie in because of the plethora of movies based on comic books.
