I liked the film but, I didn't get why the Turks who are Muslim were drinking booze? did I miss sumat do Turks drink Alcohol?

Turks have their own way of Islam and we are a lot different from Arabs.
On the other hand, conservatives have spread for the past 20 years and some of them look like Arabs, but in a secular country which legislates EU regulations.
My Muslim brother-in-law secretly drank vodka I'd given to my sister and then replaced it with water. My sister didn't care. We laughed so when she found waterdrops on the bottle where he'd neglected to dry them. When she lovingly confronted him, he tried to deny it but he was busted. He clearly felt uncomfortable but it made no difference to her. After a time he began to drink openly at home.
Some Muslims drink alcohol...
