Uhh... that was SCARY.

I've seen a lot of horror films. And yeah.. this was totally low-budget and not without a few flaws. But seriously. This one got me. I wasn't expecting it to.

I know. The main character should have fled the building within the first half an hour of the film, or aht least until she figured out the cop who came to "check on her" had a hole in the back of his head (that scene messed me up good). But I was able to overlook the questionable stuff because the atmosphere and mood were just so sinister/menacing, the images so absolutely demented, and the scares so JARRING.

Flame me all you want. I don't scare easily anymore and I actually had to use a good amount of willpower in order to refrain from turning the movie off at several points. The build-up of dread was relentless. Truly nightmarish horror flick. Liked the acting as well.

I thought it was very promising and had its moments but it just ticked me off with its end and before its end.
