It should have been traditonally animated

To differentiate it from other computer animated movies. Animals talking is just too generic of a concept already. What's the point of Disney keeping Disney Animation Studios when they have Pixar? 

Disney Animation Studios is for the singing and dancing animation movies. Pixar is for the non singing and dancing animation movies.

I don't think the Hilarious Sloth scenes would have the same effect with traditional animation, the slow minuscule details (specially the smiles would likely be lost)
