I watched this tonight. It's well done but I'm not sure if it's just an exercise in cruelty. Someone getting tormented to death over two hours.
Also watching a quarter of the movie only for it to be shown to have been imagined is a bit of a con.
My thoughts are exactly the same. This is just psychological torture porn.
shareThat’s my feeling at the end too. The movie got repetitive with the various hallucinations followed by Naomi Scott’s wide-eyed facial expression and screaming. There was never a sense that she had a chance at any time. It was just the demon toying around with her for 2 hours
