As a legal drama it sucked SPOILERS!

How would they not know the jobs of the juror? That’s pretty basic.

Doing the voir dire in front of other jurors? They are interviewed privately with the judge and the attorneys.

The old man would have been precluded from identifying him. There was no line up or a photo array.

Even a public defender would have questioned him about making the id of someone he saw in the rain at night, through a glass.

This was an extremely weak case that probably shouldn’t have reached trial.

I wonder who Eastwood consulted on this? Because it was ridiculous.

And before someone says: “It is just a movie.”, there are good Legal films that are much better at getting the legal aspect right. One of them is “My Cousin Vinny.”
