what if the strikes had been timed differently
Obviously this is hypothetical, but just thought about it and found it interesting.
I wonder how things would've gone down if the strikes had occurred later. And Scream 7 was halfway through filming, or maybe even completely finished and in post-production. Because prior to the strikes, it seemed like they wanted to fast-track this like they did with 2 and 6. So if they'd had a (mostly) complete film, I wonder how they then would've handled Barrera's social media posts. Would they have tossed the whole movie based on that? Because it would've been too late to fire her. Because clearly she can't be told what to do. So would they have fired her mid-shoot? And I guess it would make a difference depending on if they were 20% or 80% through. If it had been finished, I think they would've kept the film, but the studio would still have distanced themselves.
