Why So Underrated?

Such a unique, beautiful, thrilling and unpredictable show. I think it is the best show at the moment and it makes me really sad to find out that I'm only one of few... and that there will be only one more season.

Love or hate Lindelof, hard to argue that his writing didn't elevate above Toms base story and foundation for the series during season 2.

I am you and what I see is me.

I think there's not enough killing in it for some. If you look at a lot of the other big cable dramas then they're things like GoT or Breaking Bad or Walking Dead then there's a lot of violence underpinning it. While there is some violence in the show it's not as spectacular as some of these other shows.

I also think that the scifi premise of the sudden departure made it hard for people to conceive of it in the same realm as a 'straight' drama like Mad Men.

Unless Alpert's covered in bacon grease, I don't think Hugo can track anything.

The first season just rambled on far too long. It was funny, but not hilarious. The second season became a little funnier, and had the advantage of a story arc that carried it strongly at the end.

If you're into absurd humor, the kind of deadpan that is hard to read, then this could be a show for you. If not I think this show will be very difficult for most because it does not have a lot of the traditional story telling elements that comprise most other shows.

My opinion is I love it. I got slightly bored with the 1st season, but the second season really just turned everything up a notch, and became an excellent show that had a grand finish.

I really felt like season 2 was almost too good to be true honestly. At times I felt like I was watching the perfect show. If season 3 gets even better, it will be a hell of a finish.

This is the problem that The Walking Dead is going to have. How do you conclude this kind of catastrophe? I think could conceivably go on forever or end abruptly. Either way, you can't please everyone.
