Can't tell if this guy is trolling or not..... But Season 2 was absolutely amazing. And it's widely considered to be amazing. And not just by the critics, but the fans too. Many would even say it's better than Season 1. So..... I'm not sure what you're on about. But I don't agree with the poster that said "who cares if a show keeps going and declines in quality. Just don't watch it if you think it gets worst." Or something like that...... I would much rather a show end on a high note rather than dragging on and becoming mediocre. That's what happened to Dexter.... and my image of Dexter has been tarnished because of the later seasons.... especially that last season. Ugh. If Dexter would have ended after the 4th season, I would consider it to be a top notch series. But I don't. And btw... I'm not really comparing The Leftovers to Dexter in terms of quality, etc. I think The Leftovers is a much better show than Dexter ever was. I was just talking about what happens when a show drags on too long and becomes worse. But there have been shows that have had a lot of seasons and maintained quality throughout, imo. Such as The Sopranos and Six Feet Under. Which are two of my favorite shows of all times. I am happy that HBO is at least letting The Leftovers go on for another season to wrap things up, though. I will NEVER forgive them for the way they canceled Deadwood.....................
