They ditched the conceit that made the show interesting and different: Telling the same story from two different perspectives. They started really strong with that structure, but as the show moved forward, some writers got very sloppy. And now, apparently, they can’t be bothered at all.

I think that is a pity. Because it made the show different. And it is a very accurate and poignant message: Two people never see anything the same way.
And where were the other characters we even care about? None of the new people was worth wasting our time on. Especially the cartoon “I am zee FRANCH person, no?”

I felt as if I was watching an entirely new show – and I wasn’t interested.

....and literally, we're 2 episodes in. There so much to go.
Heaven forbid the seasons should try and diversify themselves.

hey, the people who care the most are the ones who want it to keep it's integrity. if you're really a fan of the show, you would encourage the diversity of opinions offered here, I think? that's a clear message that I got anyway from watching this

I'm all for different opinions....doesn't mean I have to agree. I just feel people are getting a little too precious about what this show does. And speaking of its "integrity", the 2nd episode literally went straight back to the original method of 2 stories in one. So there was no need for people to get their panties in a knot over Noah's hour long episode. Some people may not like him, but he is the leading actor of the show. It made sense to give him the first hour as he was just released from prison. Also - to use your theory against you - if you were a
true fan, then you'd respect my differing opinion.

Didn't like the season premiere and what it was about. But let's see where they take us.
