Filoni - Episode VI.5 - Heir to The Empire? (like an alternate Episode VII - probably featuring late 80s DF Hamill/Ford/Fisher interacting with various characters from the TV shows)
Rey movie - Episode X - New Jed Order (featuring Chewie, R2/3PO, Lando, Forceghosts Luke/Leia/Yoda/ObiWan etc)
What if Dave Filoni’s Star Wars movie is actually the Star Wars original trilogy sequel that fans wanted? You know, a sequel to Return of the Jedi with Luke Skywalker, Ahsoka and others having to go to battle with the imperial remnant led by Thrawn?
Not suggesting that doing what the fans want/expect is good, just a thought about how this film might be even bigger than we all think?
Maybe we'll be getting a 'Heir to the Empire' trilogy set between VI and VII - basically the Episode VII/VIII/IX that everyone wanted (as if made in the 90s via DF deaging tech), and building toward TFA/Ben being seduced by the Dark Side (basically a new prequel trilogy, like Eps I-III were to Eps IV-VI)

Yes, announced but not greenlit because flailing Kathleen Kennedy loves to announce Star Wars movies that never get made. She is an incompetent, anti male buffoon.
Basically, Disney is doubling down on the sequel trilogy. Their streaming series have been hit and miss (more on the miss side) with one big exception so far. I think it's mostly bluster to make Disney look more confident than they actually feel for the upcoming Indy movie and Mandalorian series (which may be slipping a bit in popularity). Remember, Disney made the same bluster about a Rian Johnson trilogy because they were 100% confident The Last Jedi was going to be beloved, or at least acted like they did. On the other hand, Disney might squeak by with Indy and Mandalorian may catch it's second wind. Disney's long term Star Wars franchise is really riding on Indy and Mandalorian, and will sink or swim with them.
Although Andor is a fine show, it just isn't getting the mass popularity or ratings they were hoping for so far, so that won't help them much. Then there's Ahsoka and The Acolyte. I have a funny feeling those won't be mass success either, but we'll see.
