Ha, ha, ha... People are giving too much importance to this stupid score. A score that means shit, the same as the IMDB voting system. A score where anyone can vote as many time as they want, with no controls, where people can vote without even seeing the movie. So, unless any of the butthurt haters here can prove that the voters only voted once and that they actually saw the movie in theaters, any intelligent persons shouldn't put any real attention to these scores systems. Of course haters and trolls are dumb and passionate so they will bring it up because, other than that tiresome rant, that's all they got.
So, does anyone of you really believe that looking at this RT audience score you can say that more people liked Jumanji than TLJ? Please, let me know so I can laugh a little.
Well other than the hundreds of thousands of votes across multiple websites (my those trolls *are* passionate) we also have our eyes, ears and a brain to tell us how shit the sequels are.
Keep lapping up this piss Disney is selling and see where it gets you. The next Star Wars movie is going to be Star Wars IX: Mission to Moscow at this rate.
RT already stated that the score is fine. So, dear gloryhunter, learn to live with the facts. Noone out there, beside a small bunch of gloryhunters (which still dont get that Star Wars died with TLJ and therefor there is no glory anymore to defend that movie), likes that movie.
And BTW At Metacritic the score is even lower :) .
No, they didn't say that. What they said is that their voting system hasn't been hacked or attacked and that the voting has been done as always. That doesn't mean the same person can vote several times and that people who haven't seen the movie can vote. So, learn to understand what you read before trying to convince others of your lies. The system is still flawed and unreliable.

I'm not really sure who Noone is, though he is probably one of the "millions" you imagine agree with you. I'm sure that in your small world you couldn't know how everyone in this planet thinks, but you seem to selfish to believe that saying a lie like "only small bunch liked the movie" is something anyone with a functional brain will believe, that is a stupid notion, but expected from you. I happen to know lots of people who loved, liked or are OK with TLJ. So, I suggest you stop believing you are some kind of omnipresent demon who can talk for everyone in your city, much less in the world. Oh, and before you come with the excuse of internet users crying how bad the movie is, I know more people who has seen the movie and do not discuss it on internet than all the crybabies on this and other movie forums. I can count the small quantities of users here and there who are vocal about disliking the movie, and that does not baffles me in the little. Keep crying loud, you might be heard, maybe.
I can see how you forget to mention the also flawed IMdB voting system which says 75% of the people liked the movie. Of course, this does not suit your lies, so you ignored it.

Sorry to tell. But I got familiar with thos figures. TLJ made most of its money during the first few days when the blogosphere dominated the discussion. When it became well known that this is, by far, the worst Star Wars movie ever it crashed at the box offices (it started a few weeks later in China and bombed their completely). So where are your millions of happy movie goers now ;) ?
And about IMDB: Read the part with "weighted average". That voting is therefor manipulated even officially and documented. So have fun with that one rating :) .

Ha, ha, ha... Now you showed you are really trolling without bases. We were talking about people liking or hating a movie based on flawed voting systems and your response is box office numbers. No, kid no.
So, you think you are familiar with the figures and numbers. Again no, you know shit about it. I won't continue this numbers discussion in order to not make you look like an idiot. However, Mr. Familiar with box office numbers, can you let this forum know the drop percentage in money from Episode 4 to Episode V (Empire Strikes Back) and the drop % from Episode I to Episode II (AoTC). Then let us know why Empires Strikes Back is the worst movie ever, using your logic. Oh, and before you return with the stupid idea of avoiding the percentage drops and use only the raw numbers, I urge you to convert the 1981 US Dollars to today's adjusted numbers or you will be just another idiot thinking that Maths are only adding and subtracting. Please, enlighten us answering my questions, I dare you.
Oh! You haven't proved to anyone yet that the RT voting system cannot be manipulated. I am waiting for your excuse.

For one last time: The rating with 49% is even way too high, cause most recent votes show a rating of appr 36% for TLJ. That happend not cause I prefer believing in strange conspiracy theories like you, but isntad cause "Its the economics, stupid".
So before the movie was released still a lot fans were excited about it (beside that the studio narative still is that TFA was awesome tzhe simply financial facts are that TLJ got way, way less presold tickets then TFA. So the trust in Star Wars movies were already damaged with TFA, but obviously still alive, cause tons of tickets were still presold for TLJ). Excited fans indeed write positive reviews (you could easily realize that at Amazon ratings when a product wasnt even released and there are already tons of positive reviews. IMHO a clear bug at Amazons product reviews). Another part for the overhelming reviews before the release of TLJ and the first days after release was indeed paid reviews. Thats a part of each movie PR since years. I dont even find that horrible anymore and instead simple subtract on level at the ratings at each review to get the paid reviews out of my perception.
So the rating is with 49% still way, way too high for such a horrible movie not cause RT is some part of a movie studio conspiracy (like your way of thinking would prefer), but instead cause around the release their were thousands and thousands of positive reviews. But when the narative of a good Star Wars movie coudnt be uphold anymore cause of most of the movie goers simply hated that movie the rating crashed into the worst region ever (for a Star Wars Wars movie). Thats why this movie is without any doubt the worst Star Wars movie ever.
So thats the only thing there is to clarify about that rating. Not if you dont like it or not or if you prefer one conspiracy theory over another :) .
Ha, ha, ha... You are so funny that I tend to forget all the stupid incoherent things you write. In fact, I haven't seen this bunch of written crap since the imbd board times.
So, you quickly abandoned the box office and "your numbers" argument and changed back the topic to ratings. Told you , you couldn't handle a single strike in that regards. But, hey, that doesn't mean you are talking on hyperbole.
For one last time: The rating with 49% is even way too high, cause most recent votes show a rating of appr 36% for TLJ. That happend not cause I prefer believing in strange conspiracy theories like you, but isntad cause "Its the economics, stupid".
Wait a second here... You are telling me I am believing in a conspiracy, when it is you who cannot prove whether RT scores can be manipulated by people voting several times or voting without even watching the move. Pure common sense. So, my reason stands since not even RT can argue against that. But then you go an write this:
Another part for the overhelming reviews before the release of TLJ and the first days after release was indeed paid reviews. Thats a part of each movie PR since years. I dont even find that horrible anymore and instead simple subtract on level at the ratings at each review to get the paid reviews out of my perception.
Ha, ha, ha... What a bunch of made up stuff. What a brainless, stupid argument that you cannot prove or sustain. Paid reviewers? Yes, prove it. I can see how the paid reviewers have done DC/WB a lot of good for all their DCEU movies. Oh! But only Disney is allowed to pay critics. Now, this is a conspiracy theory, and a stupid one I would say. And the part of "subtract on level at the ratings", ha, ha, ha... Man you should create your own church, this board and this world is full of morons ready to follow you. Yes, my argument is based on a conspiracy and yours are fact. Go figure! You must be very young and a very uneducated one.
So the rating is with 49% still way, way too high for such a horrible movie not cause RT is some part of a movie studio conspiracy (like your way of thinking would prefer), but instead cause around the release their were thousands and thousands of positive reviews. Another pile of bull shit. You are trying to lie to me. Maybe you can fool yourself (not a big accomplishment) and some other trolls and haters, but when you try to write a lie that will be recorded, at least make one that cannot be easily exposed. "their were thousands and thousands of positive reviews" you said. Bull shit I said, before the first weekend was over the movie was already way under 60% and I can prove it, can you prove your crap. The rest of your "crying like a biatch" rant is so useless that I will just ignore it.

Jumanji is an exciting fun film. And fulfil that purpose in a good way.
TLJ is a rape of Star Wars without the smallest story at all. It doesnt serve therefor any purpose and 49% rating is still way too much for that meaningless trash.
Exciting in its category. Excitement is the core of entertaining movies. Take for example the Bond movies (before boring Craig). The core of thos movies was excitement. Thats how they stayed alive for decades. Would be easy to make them Teens dakr. But that wway no adult would have been interested in that movies, when adults still were adults :) . Cause dark isnt mature or deep. Its just teenielike depressing and boring.
And Jumanji surely wont win an award, but thats not its purpose. Its just their for keep you excited and entertained. Something were TLJ clearly misses (as with any other category).
Just to make things clear: Jumanji isnt a insanely great movie. But the topic is "Compared to TLJ". And compared to TLJ even The Room looks like an cineastic masterpiece :) .
Ridicolous .... yes, its ridicolous to use a well known franchise and destroy it completely out of arrogance. The director of The Room had t least a vision. He was just completely unable to realize it corectly :) . So The Room got at least a lot of involuntary humour. K, TLJ had that too, but not that many.
The SFX of TLJ werent that amazing. They were fine and surely better then the ones at Jumanji (k, you found one category were TLJ was better. But that wasnt Johnsons fault at all).
But acting? Where exactly at the boredom fest called TLJ you found any acting? ITs amazing how some people mean that Hamill had a great performance. Hamill hated the director, cquse Johnson destroyed Star Wars. This was the most tongue in cheek acting ever done. The Rock on the other side learned his actings skills at the best master: WWE :) .
For all the talk about it's ok to be intentionally cheesy I certainly agree and there are numerous action-comedies that pull that off with knowing intelligence. Thor:Ragnarok was a good example.
But...this Jumanji film? It's insipid. It's baaaad. Loud, horribly acted, pandering to the most dumbed-down amongst us and terribly cliched.
Has anyone noticed that shite The Last Jedi is only 49 percent on Rotten Tomatoes while the hilarious and fun Jumanji in 90 percent? Thankfully there is some justice in the world.
So true. TLJ tried to subvert expectations from TFA but in the worst possible way and without delivering anything of consequence. Hated it for ruining so much potential, stupid Disney turds...
Agreed queen. Also more audience reviewed TLJ than any of the other star wars films and Jumanji. A few thousand whiny fannerds made sure to lower the score.
