There is a fourth option you may study. For me he may be a plain NOLANITE.
There are several clues to this theory. First, Nolanites are crazy, saying crazy things. They behave as if they were from another reality. Second, Nolanites like to attack other popular franchises. Look at how he is attacking MCU, Star Wars and other popular franchises. Third, why he isn't attacking Dunkirk box office, seen that this is a dull, overrated film which made much more money that it deserved, and easy target just ignored by him. And there are other clues that I will mention when I have more time.
I smell a Nolanite trying to recall his glory days after 2008, after TDK. That's why I will always love The Avengers, the movie that brought them to reality and shut them up for good.
I for one am thoroughly enjoying seeing this newest Star Wars take such a nose dive and see all the butt-hurt fans get karma thown in their face for the way they've been treating DC fan's over the years, and hope to see these movies continue down this direction and hope to see Marvel into a downward spiral next, I sincerely doubt that the MCU can keep up it's winning streak for much longer... it's just a matter of time.

The Film is just coming after AN Event Film ....
This happens on almost every single movie that Becomes An Event Film, if a sequel happens, that sequel still performs great but just not as great as Its Predecessor...
It Happened With The Avengers, The Dark Knight(Domestically), Jurassic Park, Furious 7, Pirates 2...
It Will happen With Avatar and Jurassic World 2....
in very RARE cases Films become Event Films, everything comes together perfect that creates A perfect Storm of hype and anticipation that results in A Film becoming bigger than ever imagined...that Can NOT be Duplicated ...
In Almost every case where a film did this, became an event film, If there was a sequel, that sequel performed at least 20% worse...
its just normal, Yes Star Wars is making less than TFA, but it literally has to, TFA made 900 Million + domestically for gods sake, thats so absurd, IMO it will never be broken, I literally dont see how any movie ever could hit all the markers TFA hit that built it to the event movie it became...
The bottom line is, TLJ will make between 1.4 to 1.6 Billion....It Will easily be one of the most successful movies of all time, and there wont be a sequel person at Disney thinking "Oh God what a Nose Dive"...In fact, every single person at Disney almost certainly expected A result around 1.5 Billion, they knew they wrent going to duplicate the heights of TFA...
PS good luck hoping for the Downfall of The MCU...17 for 17 so far....11 out of 12 of the MCU films that had sequels made MORE than Predecessor, highest grossing movie franchise of all time, just got back the X-Men, Fantastic Four and has a deal in place for Spiderman....ya the end is coming....(lol hilariously on IMDB, DC fans said the same thing back in 2013, they guaranteed by 2016 DC would be dominating the CBM genre and Marvel Studios time and reign would be up)
