This actually looks like a really good, wholesome, family adventure film.

A lot of the YouTube comments are saying it reminds them of old-80s sci-fi flicks, and I tend to agree.

SfX looks really "cheap." Reminds me of Power Rangers, the recent movie, not the old TV show. They have a certain "glowish" look that makes it feels idk, childish? amateurish? We don't see that particular look of CGI in MCU movies or other high budget scifi movies. Only in kids movies like this.
