Not sure about you all but to me this finale sucked! So many things left unanswered, too many people have already talked about it. Maybe next season will be a continuation on Fausto, Sonya's buck fuddy because they played that up way too much to just leave it hanging.

The season was great as a whole but yes, the finale was underwhelming. Will we even get a season 3?
shareThere's got to be season 3. My favorite show.....Franke will be back. I see Dallas lasted 3 seasons & that one is\was so poor. I can't see why anyone would even care about that. Just so-so Murder in the First was also renewed.

I did like this season but yes, the finale wasn't that great. It's like it kept some storylines open yet none of them were cliffhangers, and cliffhangers are normally indicative of another season. The only creativity I saw in the finale was how the writers left it open if there were to be a 3rd season yet closed it down in some respect in case it doesn't get renewed.

It seems to have broken with the original Danish 'The Bridge' (ie Bron), which I still think is far superior to the US version. In that the equivalent character to Marcos was arrested and taken away as Saga (Sonya) watched - she having turned him in for the murder of his son's killer. The 2 shows are very different with Saga being a much more interesting character than Sonya and the investigation in series 2 being completely different to that in series 1.

Agreed. Strong season (I've heard a lot of people saying otherwise, but I actually prefer this one to the first one), but very underwhelming finale. There was no WTF moment nor plotholes, everything was believable and logical I guess, but it was just slow and boring. I enjoyed the CIA guy, but that was pretty much it.
