PG-13: Are teenagers really going to watch this film?

I'm wondering: the rating seems to indicate the studio counts on teenagers to go watch this film. Does that make sense?

I believe most fans of Westerns (as well as fans of Denzel and Ethan) are adults. The trailers also make this look like a very violent film.

I think Pratt is almost the only reason kids would want to watch this (because of Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World).

Was it a smart choice to aim for a PG-13 with this film? Or could it end up alienating adults and fans of Fuqua's films while failing to speak to the desired teen crowd?

What are your thoughts?

Teenagers: are you interested in this film? Do you know many fellow teens who are excited for this?

"The complication had a little complication."
