Seriously, anyone seen Kill List? It is truly one of the most terrifying films I've seen and flew WAY under most people's radars. Most people don't even know it exists. It was on Netflix streaming for a while but not anymore. It's one of the great thrillers of our time, perhaps all time. Sinister and foreboding from start to finish. The dread-soaked atmosphere of the film is almost oppressive at times.

If you've seen it, you'll know why I mention it along with The Invitation. They're both similar in one respect.

The Purge

House of the Devil. Looong build-up and few obvious scares.

I'm gonna second both You're Next and The Gift, although I would also like to see more movies like this myself.
