It gets better and better with each viewing!

The nuances certainly shine through more & more. Like Stark surprise checking his mobile right as Ultron makes his entrance, like omg wtf.
Not as much of a party as the first, obviously, the sequel does improve for me with re-watches. Of course, the Hulk v Hulkbuster fight is the perfect boost of action & humour at the best time.

I have to agree. I had only seen it once: the first time I saw it in theaters. I have to say, that one time I wasn't very impressed by it. Actually, a week later I remembered nothing about it.

This year I was very pleased with Civil War. So pleased, I went to the theaters once more to see it again. Then I had the chance to watch it on a plane (thanks, United). Now I finally have it, so I can watch it again. Such a great movie.

The excitement over Civil War made me want to go through AoU once again. And I've got to say, it's defenitely better than I remembered. Of course it's not a masterpiece, and there are many things I would've prefered they had done differently, but it does get better the second time.

I thought Civil War holds up well but this movie tops it in terms of repeat joy in watching it.




