I hesitate to think he could do it again, but he directed my 2 favorite Bond movies. And a great Zorro movie!

he might be considered too old now by Eon.. then again Ridleys still making movies..and maybe theyd feel safer with Campbell to kick off a new bond than any new young guy like the one the got for NTTD (which would be breaking with Bond tradition of Martin Campbell directing the new Bond)

Green Lantern was a clusterfuck that WB brought onto themselves by going behind Campbell's back and hiring a different actor and throwing everything but the kitchen sink into the screenplay.

Could be a good move, I LOVE Mask of Zorro, I think Casino Royale is a great Bond film, and while I don’t find anything exceptional about Goldeneye it’s still very entertaining. Out of those 3 films of his I’ve seen there isn’t a single bad one.

He's in his late 70's now but managed to direct an action film this year, I've not yet seen it but the trailer looks good.
