This should have been cast with an average-looking person, the kind of person who actually does start-ups. It would have been a more interesting movie to see what she was up against. Also, what was up with Anne's bright red lipstick even when she was in a robe at night?

Look at it when Ben picked her up in the morning. Ben was drinking coffee with her husband and daughter. And they were just talking. Jules comes in. The first thing she did was hand off her dry cleaning to her husband and tells him what each one needs. Then she grabs her daughter's bowl of cereal (that she just started to eat) and placed it in the sink to take her to school. Not once did she say good morning or hello to her family. And Ben noticed that.

She's actually the exact right amount of pretty for the role. She's not supposed to be a computer programmer, she's a business grad and fashionista!

I was actually impressed with how realistically she was groomed and dressed. Most of the time, she's in cute and modern but utterly wearable clothes and shoes. She's not wearing 3kg of make-up and her hair isn't immaculately blow-waved. She's naturally pretty, but in a somewhat nerdy way.
I can't tell you how refreshing it is to not see a heroine strolling around in pencil skirts and insane torture devices on her feet. Jules actually dresses like a human being that aims to be productive all day.
She is shown wearing too much makeup considering how busy she is and don't have enough time to sleep. Agree on wardrobe and footwear.
