OK, I'm conivinsed...
I only liked season one because of Tennant. I'm on episode 5 of season 3 and it's abysmally boring.

shareWhich is a shame because this is it for the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Netflix as far as I know. I hope by the last episode they go out with a bang, kinda like how The Punisher (2017 - 2019) did.
The first season of JJ will always be my favorite because of the fantastic writing and Kilgrave.
This season blows, why the hell would we care about Jeri Hogarth played by Carrie-Ann Moss who is Jessica's lawyer getting ALS and doing everything she can to get her old lesbian lover back. This has nothing to do with Jessica! And Jessica's character also sucks the first 4 episodes, the stabbing scene was just absolute bs, the kid was suppose to be at the door but she did not see a masked man through her matted door window?
shareI'm thoroughly enjoying it. The sub plots are interesting. It's not all about Jessica.
shareI'm also on episode 5 of season 3 and almost ready to give up because its so boring.
I just finished watching the entire season. I won't spoil anything in case somebody here isn't caught up.
JJ does get a little better in the second half but that's not saying much. I feel as though they kinda wasted a few opportunities. I didn't like how they came about the whole reason for the new villain. They just kinda pulled that one out of thin air. You really have to suspend your disbelief. The Erik Gelden character was bland. Too much backstory wasted on Trish. Didn't care for Jeri Hogarth and her lesbian lover. Malcolm and his drama with his new lover could've been put on the back-burner including the prostitute sister. And the ending was clichéd as hell.
I set my expectations way too high. I was really hoping the writers were gonna go balls to the wall since this is it for the MCU and Netflix.
The season was probably mostly filmed before they found out Netflix was canceling everything marvel. Daredevil was canceled in November. This season definitely was close to being done filming by then, if not already done. They didnt have enough notice to give it a better ending.
