Honestly, did anybody want another remake of a bad Brendan Frasier remake? Who wanted this to be made? What is Hollywood thinking? Seriously. Anyone who was hoping "hot damn, I wish they would remake the mummy again" PLEASE tell me.

The original was good, the first remake was ok, then the "Dragon emperor" one was awful.(no. Not because jet li is Asian.) It was just bad. Now they're trying to rehash and rehash in on the fact that the first remake was decent. Its absurd. They took the last run too far until it for bad, and now want to remind people "hey, the first two were good and this has the same name! Just give it a chance!

It's a "remake" or "reboot" in name only. None of the characters are the same, the storyline is different. The timeline is different. It's just a movie with a mummy!
This isn't a remake of the brendan frasier films. It is a new reboot of a centuries old story that will be part of a multi movie shared Universal Monsters movie series. This is just the first of the several new monster movies to be released in the next several years and i for one am looking forward to it.
