who here has seen the movie AND read the book?

I read the book and then watched the movie. The movie is nothing like the book. The ones that made the movie might have read the book, but sometimes i think they were told what was in the book and then made the movie. The movie is not terrible, but the book (like the ex the martian) is better.

When I went to watch the movie in the cinema I loved it I sat back and enjoyed it for what it was "a teen action romance" I read the book say 2 years ago absolutly loved the book, I had a friend with me who had read the book more recent and kept saying things like I remember this and what not,, but I stilll loved it, Chloe is probably my favourite teen actress out there, so I was excited to find out she was playing Cassie.. I think I did find the movie a bit rushed and, and my friend did remind me of some scenes missing like the bully kid being surrounded by the dead bodies and the way the dad died I remember it being different with him running out and being shot and yelling at Cassie to run

also I dont get the low rating I think IMDB need some kind of catogorizing like how it is rated for a teen action sci/fy....
