Because if it was found on her car it would immediately tie her to the conspiracy. Why would her car be being tracked if it was mere chance that she happened to be on duty that night as she claimed?
As it turned out, it was the fact that forensics showed that the tracker had been attached to Denton's car that put her back in the picture. share
