I had forgotten how much our hero Lindsay was not totally innocent,I was confused by her talking to the policewomen from the witness protection unit,and why was Kate living in her car?
Kate's marriage had broken up.
Dot initiated Jayne Akers bribing Denton to set up the ambush for Tommy to get whacked. Dot wanted to kill everyone who could have pointed the finger at him, and also for Denton to take the fall for the ambush.
Denton needed the money (her mother was in the nursing home) but also wanted to protect the kid Carly Kirk from Tommy.
