When Lindsay was found guilty of peverting the course the judge sentenced her to 38 months incarceration. She the proceeded to say that as Lindsay had served that long already she was free to go!

The judge said Lindsay had served the custodial portion of the sentence. Usually someone serves half the sentence and then gets let out on licence for good behaviour. So Lindsay served 19 months. She also said a few times it was a certain number of days that matched this period.
