Would the minions follow Adolf Hitler?

They only follow real villians

reply

Wait for the gritty reboot in a few years.

"There's a reason why it goes boom."

reply

*Minions attack Hitler, save world from WWII*

reply

Why wouod they attack hitler

reply

Yeah, like they followed Napoleon. It would be logical to follow Stalin and Hitler as well, and *beep* up their plans.

reply

Because they always seem to kill their leaders. For instance the caveman, Napoleon or Dracula

reply

So, Napoleon died in excile. But a murderer like Napoleon is okay to follow i guess

reply

Watch one of the trailers, it explains it.
Basicly they follow the biggest leader, so they dont get extinct and so they have a porpourse.
If they follow a dinosaur, and it gets eaten by a bigger dinosaur, they will then follow that one.
But they always seem to make their leaders get extinct/killed.
With Napoleon, the minions got by mistake the cannon to fire at Napoleon, making him fly through the air.

I dont know if you are serious or not, but dont expect an animated kids movie to be historical correct.

reply

the movie specifically says they find the biggest villain they can find to minion for.
I am pretty sure the reason they were hiding out on the ice cap when they were was to avoid the whole hitler angle.

reply

Are you aware how evil Hitler was?

reply

Nah, Hitler was annoyed in his bunker, so he shot at them. Hitler missed, the bullet ricocheted, and got him right in the center of the forehead.

Well, I'd say it probably will be done when it's done,
but that's only an approximate guess.

No he slipped on a banana peel left by the Minions and shot himself& Eva Braun accidentally.

reply

Well, there's a reason they went in hiding after Napoleon. If they hadn't they would've definetly followed Hitler!

reply

lol, wouldn't that be great if they did? Prior to Gru, their track record of keeping their masters safe, was abysmal. I'm sure Hitler would be no different.

Real question is, would Hitler tolerate "race" so far from arian?

Anyone who has ever read any spoilers,

Uhm, like the "yellow" Japanese?

And Hitler already had is inept "minions" in the Italians and Mussolini. They did quite bit to screw everything up for Hitler (e.g. invasion of Greece).

reply

Well they followed a Pharaoh (not sure which one it was supposed to be.)

reply

Maybe in the sequel

reply

I believe it was the one in the Old Testament.

reply

Haha Honest Trailers asked this themselves, if they wherent in a cave they would follow hitler

reply

The Pharaoh(s) in the old testament stories about the Exodus would have reigned sometime in the period of about 1500 BC to 1000 BC.

Though other pyramids were attempted in the 3rd Dynasty after Djoser, it was the 4th Dynasty, transitioning from the step pyramid to true pyramid shape, which gave rise to the great pyramids of Meidum, Dahshur, and Giza. The last pharaoh of the 4th Dynasty, Shepseskaf, did not build a pyramid and beginning in the 5th Dynasty; for various reasons, the massive scale and precision of construction decreased significantly leaving these later pyramids smaller, less well-built, and often hastily constructed. By the end of the 6th Dynasty, pyramid building had largely ended and it was not until the Middle Kingdom that large pyramids were built again, though instead of stone, mudbrick was the main construction material.[20]

According to this list https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egyptian_pyramids#Construction_dates_and_heights the last major pyramid in Eqypt was that of Khendjer at Saqqara. Khendjer reigned about 1764 to 1759 BC. His pyramid at Saqqara would have been built of mudbrick. It was originally 37 meters (122.5 feet) tall but is now only 1 meter (3.3 feet) tall.

Finely built stone pyramids like the one in Minions had not been built for centuries, probably more than a thousand years, by the time that the Exodus story in the Old Testament would have happened if it was real.

reply

They were in hiding with no connection to the outside world at that point. Maybe Fidel Castro.

You don't consider Hitler to be a real villian?! Seriously?
