"The way she eats is disgusting"

"Adele was selfish"

"Emma was selfish"

"The sex ruined the movie"

"Emma was a pedophile because Adele was two or three years younger than she was"

All of these are shallow, lack any real discernment for the film itself and border on plain stupid. I think people who have made these comments aren't used to emotional, multi layered stories like this should stay away from these boards... or they have very low IQ's. The story isn't as black and white as some people make it out to be and there is far more to Adele and Emma's relationship that what is divulged on screen. Have we become so accustomed to *beep* Hollywood cinema that we don't know how to respond when we see a realistic, sexually charged, well acted and incredibly moving film like this? If you don't understand art, if you can't look beyond sex, then you need to stay away from films like Blue is the Warmest Color.

You need to stay away from words like intelligent and IQ your part of this pretentious douche bag artsy crowd who think you know better then the rest of us .Just because a movie makes you feel something doesnt mean its a great movie it could be point the emotions it arouses in you .Like this film had me just not caring for the main characters those are the emotions that i got from this film.Also the sex scenes are pornographic in nature and done from the male perspective .The director of this film looks and sounds like a pervert too me im sure this was just him living out his boy hood fantasy of seeing 2 girls dyke it out .the sex scenes didnt have the feel of 2 lesbos going at it it just felt like there was two straight actresses pretending to be lesbo dyking it out you should put your feelings aside sometime and learn some critical thinking skills im the type of person to call a spade a spade .This was just another male girl on girl fantasy mental masturbation flick .

No offense but you and some of these posters sound incredibly pompous. Who cares if others don't "get" the film? just enjoy the fact that YOU DO.

I LOVE the film but I don't think its perfect and I have no problem with others expressing certain things they don't like.

I was so hungry watching bitwc. She made it look so tasty. The movie was long but it was a powerful movie.
