happy lesbian films

Does anyone have any films that show a happy relationship between two women rather than having us all end up either dead or unhappy?

Why is the ending of this "unhappy"? Half of marriages end in divorce and the majority of romantic relationships don't end in marriage, so this seems like the most likely ending, regardless of whether you are gay, straight, male or female. It's actually the Hollywood hetero "happily ever after ending" that is most unrealistic.

If one of the characters had committed suicide at the end, I might agree with you, but there is nothing unhappy about this ending per se.

Sadly, I have noticed this theme in a lot of movies lately which is why I find myself liking novels more than movies. Some novels I would recommend that have what you are looking for in them are

Kristen Zimmer - The Gravity Between Us
Clare Lydon – Nothing To Lose: A Lesbian Romance
Giselle Fox – Slow Burn in Tuscany: A Lesbian Romance
Natasha West – The Plus One
Kate McLay – The Housing Crisis
Rachel Spangler – Perfect Pairing
Clare Ashton – That Certain Something
Clare Ashton – Poppy Jenkins (One I am currently reading)
Harper Bliss – The Road to You: A Lesbian Romance Novel
Harper Bliss – Summer's End
Siera Maley – Dating Sarah Cooper
Kat Evans – The Space Between Our Hearts

Hopefully one day we will see some movie adaptions of these movies when Hollywood realises that heterosexual couples are not the only people that exist in the world and enjoy watching movies.
