Marisol was drown in a bath tub. As a result, she has chlorine water in her lungs. Then Ray dumps her in a lake - I think it's the Reservoir in LA - which has no chlorine. The autopsy will show she didn't drown in the Reservoir. Is Ray getting sloppy or too preoccupied by the Russians?
From the reservoir in LA but chlorine is added after the water leaves the reservoir. Anyway, he was sloppy about the camera and was caught for something else.
Marmotte, I've been wondering about the discrepancy that should show up on the autopsy too!
Also remember that Marisol used a heavily scented bubble bath and oils after Hector told her she smelled like prison/rehab. This should be in her lungs because she used a lot of it.
Before she died, Marisol made herself a public figure of controversary by having a public dispute with her famous brother, so an autopsy certainly would take place without question. But hey, that's California so Hector would get away with the murder anyway if he were charged because he's a celebrity.
My initial thought was "There's going to be hair, fibers, DNA left in the trunk", until I realized that the writing has been so lackluster that it won't even be an issue.
As another posted stated, it's the writers, not Ray. I remember during season 4 of Dexter they made a POINT of Dexter slipping up due to the fact that he had so many new outside distractions (marriage/family) in his life which were clearly affecting his work as The Dark Passenger".
This is nothing like that all and is nothing more than messy writing.
