Jim Parson's voice doesn't suit the role

I'm inclined to agree. The lines I've heard are funny, but Jim's delivery is a bit flat. Nonetheless, I'll watch it and see if I still feel the same way.

*Edit* Just watched another clip. I think it's stilted and stiff because the character of Oh, as an alien, is stilted and stiff. Not so very different from the character of Sheldon from Big Bang Theory (stilted and stiff that is, not an alien). I think it will be fine and the movie looks cute.

Why? Doesn't Sheldon Cooper sound enough like an alien to you?

Jim Parsons is the best aspect of the movie. Rhianna is the one that sounds wrong, some of her line deliveries are laughable.

He definitely doesn't work for me in the previews. I really like animated movies but I think I'll be avoiding this.

I thought it sounded the role perfectly and he did a good job.

never watched any big bang in my life and i thought Oh's voice was perfect. i think people complaining are influenced by sheldon cooper.
