Shows like The Mindy Project?

I just binge watched it and there were so many parts that had me LOLing. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. I needed a good laugh and this definitely did it.

What other shows do you recommend along the same lines as The Mindy Project?

I watched the pilot episodes of The Office and Parks and Recreation looking for something with the same effect. Don't get me wrong, they had their funny parts. But it was that dry humor. Also I don't think I'm a big fan of Mockumentaries.

I did watch the first season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I liked it but still not what I was looking for.

I don't usually watch comedies so I guess that's why I'm having a hard time.

As a reference, I love Morgan & Peter on TMP. Winston from NG. Barney HIMYM.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Just to add, this show sometimes gives off an Ugly Betty vibe, so you could give that show a try.

I'd say give parks & rec season 2 a shot, aside from losing the most boring character they underwent a few other changes in Leslie's character to make her less dippy. First season of the office is kinda awful too, trying to adapt the british stories, season 2 they og off on their own thing.

Brooklyn Nine Nine is okay too, I'm not bothered by the format being documentary or not, but I think sitcoms have moved on from the 90's where you get one main character and 3 main supports and then lesser reocurring characters, now it's all about the ensemble casts and various pairings.

Have you tried Crazy Ex Girlfriend? The first season is on netflix, the show is great, very feminist.
It's also a musical, but the music is hilarious. And I know, most people don't like musicals, but this one is different from Glee and Smash, is well done, the actors are great, Santino Fontana has the voice of an angel.

You MUST watch The IT Crowd, some people don't dig or "get" British humor, but give it a try, it's hilarious.
Also Workaholics, although the humor is a little juvenile and Silicon Valley is funny.

Also, give Weeds a try, it's probably the best show evah
