The racist crybabies are review bombing this

Guess the typical MAGA crybabies can't stand a horror movie with a black lead that tackles racism.

It does have 'get out' vibes though

That film was specifically playing on black people's fears

And they wonder why no one else wants to see it?

When films or shows are about white people it’s aimed at every one so it appeals to a much wider audience.

When it’s about blacks, or Hispanics, or other races, it’s aimed at those races specifically and therefore has a much smaller audience.

generally speaking, I do like films with many races represented -
I remember seeing 48 hours and lethal weapon - just a few examples -

I also like living in multi-cultural communities.

However - what we are seeing now is something else - breeding hatred between people, cultures, races, genders, etc - films is one of many platforms where this is done.
There's an agenda at play - it's all very strange - like the reality we live in got warped somehow. It could be something as simple as our dear leaders and their billionaire controllers attempting to do something devious, so using divide and conquer method to split the people, so as to avoid a united front that will fight back - but I keep thinking this could be something else entirely.

Me too.

Love the Lethal Weapon films.

But those usually have white lead actors so they appeal to a much wider audience.

And racism or sexism or other social issues — if any — are a minor part of the story, not the main focus.

Me too.

My wife (we’re a mixed race couple) and I do now and our neighbors are wonderful friends.

I don’t feel it’s some major conspiracy (but if it is it’s being pushed by the Left), its a tectonic level shift in creative direction that a major portion of the potential audiences out there don’t want to see.

Starting around 2016, studios have been flooding the market with films and shows that aren’t aimed at or appeal to a mass audience.

Disney has been the worst.

They’ve taken formerly very popular franchises (Marvel, Star Wars, and Disney) and totally shifted directions to make all of them focusing on social politics.

Before they appealed to wide audiences.

Now they appeal to much smaller audiences and the original fan bases are tired of it.

But instead of listening to their legitimate complaints, those fans are called toxic.

Previously, films dealing with racial and sexism issues were low budget indie productions aimed at earning awards and very, very few people saw them.

I don’t remember those being review bombed because a majority of entertainment wasn’t aimed at sledgehammer social lessons so people had something else to watch.

But now that almost everything coming out is a sledgehammer looking for a nail, people are very frustrated and review bombing is a way of protesting.

But like I said below, if these films were any good or if there was an audience who actually wanted to see it, wouldn’t they be bombing it with good reviews?

Yet they don’t.

Race isn't the correct inclusive label; identities in general. You're dealing with the mix of ethnicity, religion and sexual from the looks of it.

Good point

Or maybe it’s just a suck ass movie?

The leftist crybabies love putting out lazy crap and then blaming racism or sexism or “toxic” fans (i.e. people with good taste) for their own failures.

And if this film was any good or if there was an audience who actually wanted to see it, wouldn’t they be bombing it with good reviews?
