Am I the only one who liked this movie?
I thought it was fun throwback to old cheesy horror movies from the 1980s and early 1990s. It wasn't Oscar worthy, but still it was pretty entertaining.

Dave "Crown Time" Blankenship for Time Man of the Year.
I put off watching this because Netflix ratings gave it one star but I finally clicked play and am glad I did. Very funny, bloody, cheesy. Reminded me of Housebound in tone and I LOVED that one.

I thought I wouldn't like this film at all.
How wrong I was!
I was putting it off as well, but I'm running out of stuff to watch on Netflix.
It was a nice surprise, my expectations were low, but it was quite well done.
You mentioned it wasn't Oscar worthy; it made me wonder, has any horror film ever won an Oscar?
And NO, Silence of the Lambs wasn't a horror movie.

The Fly (1986) won one for Best Makeup. Does that count?
shareMy 6 year old Daughter & I have watched this movie at least 30 times since 2013...definitely our kind of movie haha
shareI also liked it a lot. Reminded me of hatchet with all the gore, and shots of just blood flying past the camera with a dark background. The horror comedy genre is one of my faves, and this is delfinitely a solid entry in it.
shareingenious. so inventive my gosh, could you believe the amount of creativity that went into every kill scene committed by stitches? i haven't seen a horror movie with as original or great of kill scenes done by the villain since the a nightmare on elm street films in the '80s.
sharestitches world is so magical with the characters and the egg backstory. this film is amazing.
shareCool.
shareLoved it! Great movie. Am recommending it to everyone who hasn't yet seen it.
sharethis is a new horror classic. so original in every way. modern in it's story and hipness, the villain is one of the most original and one of the best slasher movie villains ever, he's so powerful, menacing, and witty with his jokes. and the kill scenes are some of the most ingenious i've ever seen in a slasher, mind blowingly original ideas, amazing set pieces. very a nightmare on elm street looking. in a day when most horror movies are generic and forgettable and predictable this one shines above all the rest in the past 10 years. they need to make stitches the new slasher movie villain staple by making at least 3 more stitches movies.
