That house was beyond creepy.

I know that the guy was a horrible evil pedo-rapist. But for some reason, the state of that house really bugged me. It really seemed like he didn't live there, but used it as a hide out to take little girls to.

But what was with a innumerable number of mattresses everywhere?

What bugged me the most was how "nice" and clean-cut he looked and how nice his car looked - from the outside. Then you see his house and the inside of the car and just .. *shudder*. Seems like a statement about how he presented himself as a person, versus what he was really like - the horrible evil he committed.

I really wish they had confronted the guy at the gas station, like someone else stated on this board. But I guess they didn't know at the time, for sure, that he was a predator.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who felt that way. The only time I was actually freaked out during the movie is when they were looking through his house. Bleh...

movie was frustrating at times but let's give credit where it's due - they did a great job with that ending in the house. the whole thing gave you the creeps. kept me on the edge of my seat, you just knew this was going to end terribly and it sure did
