It reminds me of 90s shows where the writing wasn't always great but it didn't matter because it was light-hearted and fun and enjoyable.
Also not preachy in the slightest.

USA, please stop making box ticking shows constantly battering me over the head with how I am evil because I was born with a certain skin colour and chromosomes, and just make entertaining TV again.
