Ashton Kutcher must hate how good this film is.

Ashton Kutcher must hate how good this film is.

I saw "Jobs" and the only thing I could think of was the word, "Meh". Ashton worked very hard for the role. He tried his best. He was hospitalized for preparing for the role (look it up). Also, he LOVES new technology. The film is a straight up dud and is basically ignored. Seriously, the parody film "iSteve" was better.

THEN.. The film "Steve Jobs" comes along and blows everyone away.

Kutcher's version was vastly superior, agree.

Come in she said I'll give you shelter from the storm.

reply

Yeah I bet he wishes he would have had the role in this film.

Actually Ashton Kutcher's version was significantly better than this pretentious
incoherent waste of time. While there were a few nice acting performances all in all this movie sucked ass. No wonder it was a box office disaster.

WTF was up with Fassbingers accent in the movie? He sounded like he was imitating Christopher Waltz throughout? I don't remember Jobs having that accent.

reply

I didn't see the Kutcher version, primarily because I can't stand him.

So, consider I love Fassbender and Sorkin and typically think Danny Boyle is money.

This movie was a flat out 5 out of 10 and I'm probably being kind. So, if Kutcher hates how good this film is, I'd hate to see how bad his was.

This thing was a turd.

reply

Well, you don't know if Kutcher hated how "good" this film was.
I strongly suggest you to check out 'Jobs', just to be fair.
I'm not particularly a fan of neither of the actors, but I felt that Kutcher fitted the role better.
No doubt this movie had good acting, but it was filled with massive dialog sessions, focusing only on some points only. 'Jobs' told a better overview of the company.

reply

I doubt it really. It was a chance for him to be taken as a serious actor, he, along with the film basically failed. But he had other options it appears. He's still acting and for some reason he's a shark on Shark Tank sometimes so apparently he's fine making money. So I;m sure he's just moved on.

And if anyone is interested in a review of the film- https://youtu.be/B1wdJpXJjY4

Trying to go for an informative, and hopefully something people think is funny, youtube channel so hope you guys like. Thanks.

I honestly liked the other movie better. I think Ashton did a great jobs and mimicked the poses and movements of Steve near perfectly.

This movie is more about the relationship with his daughter and coworkers, does not tell much about his motivations, and really do not show anything more about his life.

Jobs was better telling me about Steve's life. This one was a little pretentious for my taste.
