Loved Point Break 2015!!!

Loved Point Break 2015! It went beyond the original. Adding the 8 extreme to do's brought an extra spirituality to it. However sticking to the original point break with the shooting & killing did not go with the heightened spirituality or giving back. This was mentioned in the movie. But would have been better to remove completely. The movie would probably have done better. A dichotomy there with what the 2015 is trying to introduce. There never was much conversation in the original as well. Just enough. Neither of the movies are about verbal conversation. The conversation is within, with Nature, the Elements, with one Self. Loved the 2015 version!!! Especially Edgar Ramirez! So gentle, compassionate, kind, accepting of human nature, encouraging; good acting as a portrayal of Bodhi or is he really this? Gorgeous person if really so. He does volunteer work for children, perhaps actually so ..... Gorgeous!

Lmao this is obviously some young girl with a crush on ramirez

I actually came here to say the opposite. His acting was so corny n character so fake, anybody thats been around "extreme sports" is so put off watching this cuz its so unrealistic.

I could tell watching this that dumbass teeny boppers would actually think the settings in this movie happen with those types of characters and be enamoured "by the beauty"

All I can do is laugh, but you have a right to like whatever, no matter how dumb

I'm sorry.

I liked it too and agree with what you said. I just felt they should have covered the green issues, sustenance and underlying plots a lot more.

So you were the one person that like that dribble.

Should've called it "Point Turd". 👉💩

Or "Turd Break".💩💤

Or "Turd Turd".💩💩

So did I. It was everything I wanted it to be. Sick ass stunts, and AMAZING visuals. The France scene was one of the better "I wish you were here" images I have seen in a very long time.

The story was pretty weak, but I wasn't trying to watch The Usual Suspects. In fact, I liked how they kept the story relative to the first one, but it wasn't dependent on it whatsoever. I give remakes extra credit for that. You don't have to, but I do.

The acting wasn't Oscar worthy either, but ... I wanted to see impressive stunts. And I think the movie delivered as strong as the first one, with interest for the new age. The first one had an early Keanu Reaves and Gary *beep* Busey. We aren't talking Pacino and DeNiro here.

Well then they should have just made a 20 minute youtube video because otherwise it wasted like an extra hour of everyones lives. The story was so bad it was one of the worst directed films I have seen in maybe a DECADE. It makes the original look like Schindlers List.

Not at all. Not sure what you were expecting, but this movie was everything that I wanted it to be. Was the original thought provoking in some way?

It's playing on HBO now, and ... can you remember any of the stunts from the original? Neither can I. But, the stunts in this one are amazing. The table top jump, the wing suits, the surfing, the snowboarding ...

It's a shame that the Oscars do not recognize stunt work.

Oh hell yes I can remember the stunts from the original. They were quite different from this film because in this film, the stunt sequences are overburdened with CGI.

The skydiving sequences were real. You can look them up and read how they were shot. Actual people jumped out of a plane and were falling to earth. I just watched the wing suit sequence in the remake. I might as well have been watching a video game for all the reality it lacked. Did anyone actually fly in a wing suit? To me it looked like all green screen, fans blowing in their faces while being suspended by wires.

The surfing in the first was real as well. Again, composite shots make up the bulk of the surfing here. Might as well be a surfing video. No one had to do much surfing since the drama of the shot was manufactured in a computer.

The wing suit scene is one of the better stunts I have ever seen in a movie. Yes, it is real. Go watch it again. There are five wing suits in the air, and a camera crew on the ground.

Thanks your post made the movie even more enjoyable.

amazing visuals? wtf are you talking about? everything in this movie was teal colored

Then you should get your eyes checked. I thought the ocean was blue, the mountain was white, and both the forest and the jungle appeared green to me.

Amen. Fake an inorganic. The original was beautifully shot. The water was kinetic and true to life. The sand gritty. The earth rushing towards them while the skydiving. Just fantastic.

There was no life in this film. The tone of it utterly lacks the joy of the original. The original crew got off on whatever they were doing, and expressed it perfectly. Like when Grommet is describing big wave riding and how his stomach drops out as he commits to the wave and his cajones climb back into his body.

This crew is all moody and joyless. They just grimly take on each task. Like a death march.

I couldn't care less if they lived or died. Any of them. And I like Edgar Ramirez. Just not in this movie.

This movie blew huge chunks, poorly lit in the night scenes , you coulndt always tell who was speaking, the guys in bohdi's crew all looked the same, had quasi similar accents. This was like watching the winter x games with a script written by some liberal eco freak pansey.
