No wonder Blacks hate Whites

How could you not after watching so many if these types of films . I belive it just the fact that everything was manipulated just out in public with absolutely no authority--even the bible . I don't even see how they could still be a Christin after knowing all this .

I don't believe in white guilt any more than I believe people alive now deserve reparations because they are descended from slaves. Black people who hate white people hate them because they are filled with irrational hate, just like whites who hate blacks are filled with irrational hate. To hate any race or ethnicity is not just wrong, but just plain stupid. We are all individuals.

The world is a totally different place than it was 200 years ago. People had a vested interest in viewing blacks as subhuman. The rich needed to to keep their lifestyle and the poor needed to so have a social class under them so they wouldn't be at the bottom. People might have rationalized what is right in front of their faces but look at us? Where do you think your 5 dollar t-shirt came from other than a sweat shop? Eat your Little Debbie which are filled with palm oil and is the leading cause of rain forest destruction. We all turn a blind eye. Look at Fox news who's company line is that racism doesn't exist.

Do what you can NOW to make the world a better place. Learn from the past, but don't be haunted by it and don't EVER justify bigotry.

Slavery was an evil, evil thing. It turns my stomach. But as a white person I have been asked before to apologise for it, which I refuse to do. Not only did I not do it, but nor did anyone related to me - my ancestors could barely afford bread, let alone a slave.

So no, I don't believe in white guilt, because why should I feel guilty about something I did not do, nor did even my ancestors?

Truly Happy Mondayed.

That's why they will keep making these propaganda movies to exploit your guilt.

And if you fall for this, you deserve this.

Don't put this on Christianity, it was Man that twisted the bible's words to make it something it wasn't, and to justify their own cruelty. And no I don't hate whites, I don't understand why some people are so ignorant about the topic of slavery, I hate what the whites from the time period did, but not them personally.

I agree with you, it is as if nowadays an ordinary German person was asked to apologise for what Hitler and his collaborators did with Jews, Polish and more.......

I also think that movies teach people many things that happened in the past, and it is good to temember them in order not to make the same mistakes. It is also true that there are more films about slavery than about other terrible human situations and events, but this may be due to the fact that, I believe, North-American people are critical with themselves.

There is a single thread that ties it all together...a SYSTEM of government sanctioned and supported institutional violence specifically in support of the 400-year-old lie of white supremacy.

Yes, even right now!

Only a major sociopath would argue that slavery wasn't undeniably undergirded with massive amounts of absolutely endless violence (and especially, the threat of violence) AT ALL TIMES towards non-whites. Then, almost 100 years beyond the abolishment of slavery, Jim Crow apartheid was still inflicting disproportionately massive amounts of violence on non-whites (Think fire hoses and police dogs mercilessly unleashed on even women and children, for example, just for demanding simple equality.). And likewise, what you are hearing even now, another 50 years beyond that, regarding police brutality, disproportionate prison sentencing, hideously extreme economic disparities, and even the coded language of today's far-right political rhetoric is still about physical and psychological violence against non-whites. Because the underlying SYSTEM, created in support of the original lie of white racial supremacy, is STILL in place.

So quite simply, it's not about guilt, in the least! It's about taking "personal responsibility". Personal responsibility to call out and help dismantle a 400-year-old fraudulent and morally reprehensible SYSTEM. That's still withholding the FULL right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness to it's non-white citizens. And, that's STILL inflicting constant violence on it's non-white citizens. Exactly as it was originally designed to do! Just much, much more covertly now.

So once again, screw all the endless noise about slavery and "white guilt"! That's got NOTHING whatsoever to do with what this is all truly about! Because it's about dismantling the underlying SYSTEM...still.

No man lies so boldly as the man who is indignant.

Why do you think Blacks hate Whites? So many of what type of films. I find it hilarious people speak about "ALL" these slavery movies. What they mean is ONE is too much. How many mainstream slavery movies have their been in 40 years? 4? In your mind you would prefer it was never discussed as it would prevent you from having to think about it and your continuing benefit from the residual effects of slavery. Blacks don't hate whites. They hate a system which continues to abuse them as you stand by and watch with banal slogans like "all lives matter" to defuse the real, statistically provable issues.

You do know it's a Hollywood Movie aka nothing about it was based on anything but fiction. It was no doubt invented by blacks who hate whites. Hell yes my great great grand daddy owned your ancestors and they loved every minute of it.
