I really enjoyed the movie

I found the movie to be a lot of fun, and that is all I expect from a Marvel movie. The CGI was awesome, the worlds created were beautiful, the villians were badass, Thor hit things with his Hammer, Loki was amazing, and there was a lot of silliness. I was well entertained for the cost of admission.

If I had to rank the Marvel movies this would be in my top 4.

I don't quite understand the naysayers to this movie. It's a Marvel movie... They all follow the same dynamic; big explosions, short on story, cool CGI, too cool for school heroes, lots of silly jokes, no real threat, and are rather predictable. Unless they make major screw ups (IM3 for example) these movies are all the same, just insert a different hero. If you haven't figured this out yet, set more realistic expectations. I go into these movies expecting exactly what is coming, and I enjoy them greatly.

Everyone I've seen it with (about 20 people) have all enjoyed it a lot. Word of mouth is going to be very good. It's simply a fun and thrilling movie any way you cut it.

I really think this is the best film currently playing at the cinema. I enjoyed it more than American Hustle, Wolf and The Hobbit 2.

Then we should all tell it to as many people as possible.

So much to love.

I enjoyed this film immensely. The scenes between Loki and Thor were absolutely hysterical and the chemistry between Hiddleston and Hemsworth was wonderful. I felt the movie lit up when those two were on the screen and verbally sparring with each other. I'm beginning to get a girly crush on Tom Hiddleston.

Hiddleston and RDJ are going to be the "hires that built Marvel." Seriously, those guys have been masterful.

I just saw Hobbit 2 and Thor was far more enjoyable.

This really did deliver on many fronts. The visuals, as has been mentioned, should win the Oscar and the acting is as good as it gets for the genre. The story may have been basic but that's what was needed for this sequel. The emotion and adventure were delivered at high levels.

If you're trying to achieve, there will be road blocks. I've had them; everybody has had them. Even Marvel has had them over the years. But obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it. Many Marvel films teach this factor.

reply

They teach that and more.

Maybe this was better than the first but does it matter? Both work so well together.

reply

It's better than IM2 and I liked that film.

reply

I loved it. It was much better than the first one in my opinion. I thought it was better than Iron Man 3

I thought it was just pure fun

When I think back to late last year, this is the movie that I think about. I enjoyed it that much.

Just calling it fun sells it short. This is one thrilling movie that had e on the edge of my seat.

reply

It holds up well when rewatching as well. Just as thrilling.

What other film from a year ago can you say that about?

reply

No film last year had better action. Not one.
