Do women like this movie?

I loved it, a great cast, I love Matthew McConaughey and Sarah Paulson. Both teen actors were great too, especially the boy who played Ellis. Would watch again.

Yes, I absolutely loved this film. It was one of my favourites of 2012.

It was a little disappointing to come on these boards and see the raging gender debate. I guess some people will always see what they want to see in films. All the characters in this film were flawed… some more than others. But I hardly think this film was trying to unmask the toxicity of an entire gender. It was so much more than that. A brilliant coming-of-age drama.

I really liked the movie until I came on here and saw the numerous posts declaring that this movie was some sort of shining example of how selfish, toxic and ignoble women really are ... but that's IMDB for you, ruining your favourite shows and films. 

I've got a remote and I'm not afraid to use it.

Odd question. But yes, I'm a woman and really like this movie. Why wouldn't women like it?
