Anyone else hate this show, but still watches it?

I've only JUST started watching it-like literally on E6, but I'm loving it so far, and I was NOT expecting to. I'm not a fan of CG, so that's a strike against it. There was JUST another show 5 minutes ago, making this feel kind of pointless. And most of all, this is the first thing after it got sold.

Corporate Star Wars stunk, and I was expecting this too as well, but...darn if I'm not enjoying it so far. It's surprisingly dark (literally and figuratively) which is a great thing in my book. The fights are surprisingly good-MASSIVELY better than the Baysplosion Turtles, which didn't really have a single decent fight in it.

And so far I'm loving the characterization and stories. I've actually managed to be surprised a time or two.

And yeah, the streets are empty, but whatever, it's fine IMO. I mean I'd much rather it all be in high quality normal animation, or live action, but it works for me.

I grew up watching the original cartoon and absolutely LOVE this new version. The CG art style is great, the show is funny but can actually get pretty dark sometimes. The fighting is better and almost looks like it is based on actual moves and not the sillyness of the original, AND Splinter is a total badass.

My criticism comes more from the "this is so much -postmillenial kiddo trying to pass as mature" and thus from the "this is so childish" angle... But once a TMNT fan, always a TMNT fan.

This show is amazing. It's prob the best cartoon show on TV at the moment. Not only can kids watch it, but adults too.
It doesn't pander to kids either. There's some dark stuff in it.
