Paul Dano was laughably bad

The character ticked practically every movie serial killer cliche in the book. Innocent, dweeby-looking appearance? Check. Soft spoken, childlike voice? Check. Uncontrollable fits of joy and laughter upon causing chaos? Check. A motive stemming from revenge at an unjust society where the people he kills somehow "deserves" it? Check.

And on top of that, Paul Dano was just laughably terrible in the role. How anyone can say he's the perfect successor to Heath Ledger's Joker just eludes me. He was so over-the-top and cartoonish to the point that I almost started laughing in certain scenes.

The movie sucked as a whole too, but Dano was the icing on a cake made of shit and piss.

And I dont know but for me The Riddler was always Jim Carrey. Thats the first time I saw the character and that how I view him.

All those 4 Batman movies with Keaton, Kilmer and Clooney were not perfect but at least they gave everyone canon villains. The ones that people remember 20 years later.

For me
Danny DeVito is Penguin
Michelle Pfeiffer is Catwoman
Tommy Lee Jones is Harvey Two-Face
Jim Carrey is Riddler
Arnold Schwarzenegger was fun as Mr. Freeze
Uma Thurman was creepy and memorable as Poison Ivy

No one already remembers who plays Catwoman in Nolans movies and here. Michelle Pfeiffer is the only real Catwoman for everyone. Harvey Two-Face was so forgettable in Nolans movies. I already forgot about Colin Farrells The Penguin. But still remember creepy and scary Danny DeVito’s. That thing was truly scary and disgusting.

New movies only gave good Joker with Ledger. I dont like Jack Nicholson’s one. He was no scary at all.
