So, this movie or Midnight in Paris ?
Haven't see Rome but thought MiP was a dull, boring story with uninteresting characters , all over a very cliche view of Paris. Some have said Rome was somehow like that. Which one did you enjoy ?

Ok, thank you.
shareMidnight in Paris is definitely better. And the cast is excellent.
shareI liked Midnight in Paris MUCH better. I loved it! A great little story and plus I got to meet all the people I've read about all my life -Hemingway, Picasso, Gertrude Stein, etc. What fun!
shareLoved Midnight. This one was fun, but long in some parts.
shareI'd go for Midnight in Paris too. It's a magical movie for me - the plot, the whole idea, the atmosphere...all's just about perfect. I went to the cinema in a quite lousy mood back then, but having watched it, I felt all cheery and upbeat.
And I have to say the sense of humor of 'Paris' appealed to me more than that of 'Rome'. It's probably because MiP is even less Allen-esque than TRwL;)
edit: Still, hats off to Alec Baldwin. Couldn't wait for his wry comments.
Agree that MiP was quite a charming story. And it had Sidney Bechet's sax.
shareIn my opinion, Midnight in Paris is vastly better. This one is just plain fun, Midnight was more charming and unique. This one feels like a lot of other Allen's films.
shareMIP fer sure !

I like both of them because they describe two different, beautiful, my favourite cities.
I thought this was a big step down from Midnight In Paris. MIP was clever, and actually a little romantic too. This was neither particularly, although I did like the Alec Baldwin/ Jesse Eisenberg interplay.
shareI liked Midnight In Paris more but I enjoyed Rome more. Does it make sense?
share"Midnight in Paris" has a better, leaner script but "To Rome with Love" is good too.

You're sharp alright...
I liked MiP.
I thought the acting and casting in to Rome with Love was pretty bad.
Definitely, Midnight in Paris.
Don't "yeah, yeah", me Lois.
