I think it sucked. I hated it.

It was boring. All style no substance. Great visuals but crap story. Just like The Arrival. I hope Dune is better.

It sucked because it wants you to cheer for the death of the human race. If I were a replicant and had human thoughts and emotions, I would dedicate my existence to "retiring" every other replicant. Then if I accomplished that I would "retire" myself.

shareIt's dull and it just doesn't capture a bleak, grungy, dirty future like the original does. Sure the aesthetic of the original is there but it feels like a movie future and not a realistic, living, breathing future like the original. I feel like I'm being transported into a world with the original.
When he's on top form, Ridley Scott was one of the best at visuals and sound. For me, Ridley's absence makes the difference between the two worlds.
