Were it possible to reside in a cyberpunk city...would you?

The two examples which come to my mind are Neo-Tokyo (of Akira) and 2019 Los Angeles (of Blade Runner).

I live in Bangkok, so in some ways I already live in a somewhat low-fi cyberpunk city. Youthful bike gangs armed with homemade guns and machetes selling meth, corruption, neon lights and towering skyscrapers.

So yes I could and would live in a cyberpunk city. It would be the same as Bangkok or any other big city with slums and dystopian aspects in the near future.
