This has proberly been asked before...In WATCHMEN Jeffrey Dean Morgan looked 50 pounds heavier of pure muscle............what happen?

He lost weight to appear taller in this role. But then again, he could’ve kept his legs and waist slim and bulked his shoulders and chest.

No, that’s not it.
In Watchmen, he was younger, a bit heavier, and had a superhero-type costume (complete with shoulder pads), which made him look bigger.

He lost weight, and he got older. That is all.

I mean he still is freaking gorgeous. Wonder how Maggie restrains. At this point she's been secretly lusting for Negan longer than she even knew Glenn. Years ago I had a FWB who looked similar to him, was fun

He was 40 lbs heavier when he was filming The Watchmen, but he wasn't overly muscular. He was wearing a latex muscle suit to look jacked in that movie: https://i.redd.it/4xo2tg4e1is51.jpg

He lost the 40 lbs for a role in a mini-series called Texas Rising and I'm assuming part of the reason he kept it off was because he was locked in a cell with very little food in the tv series The Walking Dead for years, so staying lean made sense for that role too.

Walking Dead occurs during apocalypse, with limited food. His lean frame was for the setting

I kinda wondered that, too. He lost a lot of weight along the way. I wonder was he sick or something?
