Did anyone else LAUGH...
... at the scene where Hojjat is having an argument with Nader in that police station and after learning that he ALSO filed a complaint against the woman for her apparent mistreatment of her father he turns to him and says "Aren't you ashamed of yourself? You call yourself a MAN?", with his facial expression and whatnot, wasn't that so hilarious?
And with him kinda stating the obvious?
He could've maybe even turned it around and said "But shouldn't women who do wrong ALSO be held responsible for their actions, or are only men capable of doing wrong and being bad etc", even if it wouldn't ultimately serve much purpose for the movie either, but still...
And even if he DOES think of himself as a man and whatnot, maybe he could've also retorted and said - heck, what does it MATTER if I do or do NOT think of myself as a man, heck, my OTHER man my father was NOT in any good physical state and the woman was so she CAN be responsible for how she mistreated him given his age and physical state etc, and besides, STOP judging people by their gender you stereotype etc.
But OK, dribble bibble bubble aside, did anyone ELSE find that part/scene etc to be oddly hilarious? I actually LAUGHED, FOR REAL, lol. :)
